Wave Wisdom Daily Blog

Thank you for entrusting me with your time in reading this blog the context of which has been taken from my first edition of Wave Wisdom emails.  I’m mighty honoured to ride this tide of thought with you and if you’d like a little more, please keep tuned in and if you wish, sign up for my free daily Wave Wisdom emails which will be starting up again at the beginning of 2019.  I promise, I’ll do my best to entertain you during our daily ‘paddle out’ together.

So without further ado let me revisit an article I wrote on Sept 1st. I hope you like …

As I write, I’m sitting on the rocks in my little Cornish cove watching the surfers dance with the Ocean.  The foaming mouths of the waves hurtle towards me, washing my thoughts clean of any negativity and clearing a space for peace.

I close my eyes and let the Atlantic’s roar showers over me.

I breathe.

I let go.

The fear and anxiety of the ego’s day are lost, melting back into the vast ocean of  illusion from which they were created. I feel cleansed, unburdened as I am by the weight of incessant thought.

Life becomes infinite once more and time a mere deception.

And that’s the magic of the sea isn’t it.  It liberates you from the smallness of your human thoughts and connects you to the eternal Ocean of universal consciousness.

As I write, I’m reminded of a quote by Simone Weil, “Grace fills empty spaces, but it can only enter where there is a void to receive it, and it is grace itself which makes this void.”

So may I wish you the most beautiful of empty spaces today. It’s my hope that as you ponder this image, it will deliver to you the same grace that it delivered to me the moment I cast my lens upon its beauty.

Write and let me know.

Wishing you the most magical of days.

From North Cornwall, With Love.
