Nevada Dreamtime is a 81cmx 18cm ChromaLuxe® Fine Art print of an image that was taken on a soul searching trip to the Nevada desert in 2017. A smaller 51cm x 11cm ChromaLuxe fine art print is also available.
A ChromaLuxe® fine art gloss print is printed on lightweight, slimline aluminium. These 1.2mm thin metal prints are archival, waterproof, fire resistant, chemical resistant, abrasion resistant and come with a sub-frame on the reverse ready for hanging.
The image is also available on pearlescent archival fine art paper.
These mediums were chosen because they give an intense depth and colour intensity which creates a realistic effect of the sun rays stretching across the desert and the vast mountain ranges of Nevada.
Each piece of artwork comes signed by the artist together with a small, bespoke message in the form of a poem or letter to go with the image.
There is a very emotional story behind the image. A romance had just ended in Vegas and I decided to drive to LA to seek the solace of a good friend. It was an arduous drive - 10 hours of traffic jams and tears. Upon my return to Vegas for my flight a a few days later, I still felt numb with pain but something in my heart told me to go up into the desert to watch the sun go down. I felt alone and scared but I took off into the dwindling light and nestled amidst an incredible mountain range and the desert shadows. Safe in nature, the skies opened, and without further ado, put on the most incredible light show for me ... I felt my heart heal, my spirits soar and my soul breath free amongst this incredible expanse. I vowed I could never feel alone again - I was breathing with the mountains and every living being that shared the skies with me.
It is my hope that when you view this image, you too will share this feeling of connection and safety.
